What’s Clean
Approximately 90% of all ingredients are organic depending on availability. The nut mylks are not organic. The food is vegan with gluten-free options and the ingredients are locally sourced when available.
What’s Served
Food Conspiracy has a small menu that offers scratch-made soups, juices, and wheatgrass to order, smoothies and sandwiches, organic coffee and teas. A few scratch-made desserts are also available. Although not present during my review, CBD and Kava infused Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies are often available.
What I Ordered
I ordered a create your own fruit smoothie which was delish. Unfortunately, I missed the Thai Coconut Mushroom soup of the day because it was all sold out.
The Vibe
Well…it looks a bit run down from the outside, if curb appeal matters, then keep driving. The inside is older and it doesn’t look like any remodeling has taken place in decades. There is a large courtyard in the back equipped with several tables and sun umbrellas. However, the staff members are happy, friendly and knowledgable.
The Takeaway
Don’t judge a book by its cover; there’s good clean food inside! Food Conspiracy is a small market with an even smaller juice bar, 34 years and counting. The market is open until 6pm.
