What’s Clean
Humanitree House is 100% vegan and offers a few gluten-free options. The majority of the produce is certified organic or local organically grown, ask for more specifics. The cold-pressed juices are squeezed in house and are available in the Grab & Go refrigerated case.
What’s Served
At Humanitree House, the vegan lunch menu offers 10 entrees including wraps, sandwiches, salads, a burger, and always a soup of the day. The breakfast menu offers items like Avo Toast, Burrito, BLT, and Smoothie bowls. In addition, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, shots, and teas are available.
What I Ordered
Our hungry selves ordered the Avocado Toast, a Smoothie Bowl, and the Purple Go’Rhilla smoothie. Pictures don’t lie, check out the size of the Avo Toast, a heaping portion for sure. Topped with fresh microgreens, the tasty avocado smash was smeared atop the nicely browned Sprouted toast, overall, 2 thumbs up. We opted for acai as the base in our Smoothie Bowl which was creamy and quite delish. Topped with fresh sliced strawberries, blueberries, and granola, every bite of this bowl was enjoyed. The combo of blueberries, strawberries, and banana made for a refreshing and flavorful smoothie.
The Vibe
Eclectic with a capital “C”, Humanitree House is part 1970’s living room and part art exhibit. Vibrant colors are visible in every nook and cranny, but my fave is the velvet lime green couch, so fun. Tables, inviting upholstered chairs, couches, and a long bar are what you’ll find in the form of seating. Fun fact: most of the artwork adorning the walls are finger paintings created by the owner himself.
The Takeaway
Humanitree House is one of the very few places in the Augusta area that serves clean food. They do a great job of creating tasty nutritious eats in a hip and fun atmosphere. Breakfast is only served from 8am – 10am.
