What’s Clean
At Organic Buzz Cafe & Juice Bar, most of the produce is certified organic, or local and organically grown. Therefore, the juices, smoothies and bowls are made with organic ingredients. The coffee and baked goods that are made in-house are also all organic, as are the store-bought nut milks. Pretty much everything made in house, such as the puddings and oats, are made with all organic ingredients. Dairy-free, vegan, and gluten-free options are plentiful. Some of the outsourced baked goods and lunch meats are not entirely organic.
What’s Served
Organic Buzz Cafe & Juice Bar changes its menu often based on the season and what’s available. You’ll always find a nice selection of made to order juices, smoothies, bowls, and a salad or two. In addition, a variety of paninis, sandwiches, and toasts are also offered. Fresh baked goods such as cookies and pastries are made in house and are a must-try. Although not entirely organic, about 8 different flavors of gelato are always on hand as well.
What I Ordered
I’ve visited Organic Buzz many times and have sampled several different menu items. For today’s review, I ordered a Latte, a Chia Pudding, and a house-made Raspberry Square. The Raspberry Square was outstanding. Made in house with organic ingredients, the crumbled topping and buttery base were moist and not too sweet with just the right amount of savory fruit filling. The organic, vegan, and GF chia pudding, topped with shredded coconut, was creamy and decadent and 2 thumbs up. Organic oat milk and coffee beans made for a bold and richly tasting latte. On another recent visit, I chose a Turkey & Cheese Panini on toasted Sourdough. Although the panini was delish, most of the ingredients were not organic, but still cleaner than most. The Energizer Smoothie made with coconut milk, banana, strawberry, pinepple, chia, and a splash of maple syrup has a nice velvety consistency and fruity flavor making it one of my fave smoothies at Organic Buzz Cafe & Juice Bar.
The Vibe
Organic Buzz Cafe & Juice Bar is located on Route 115 in an end unit of a small strip mall. You’ll find comfortable furnishings in the form of high top and traditional tables with a couch or two in this quiet space. The feel resembles a traditional coffeehouse while several tables are available outdoors, weather permitting.
The Takeaway
Organic Buzz Cafe & Juice Bar is a winner all around. Clean and mostly organic ingredients are transformed into delicious smoothies, coffees, baked goods, handhelds, small treats, and more. You can feel the good energy as soon as you enter, stop by and support local while enjoying some yummy and delicious eats.
