What’s Offered
The menu at Fruits & Roots offers Super Food Smoothies, fruit-based Bowls, Banana Bread, Overnite Oats, cold-pressed raw organic juices & nut mylks, wellness shots, and a few baked goods.
What I Ordered
I ordered a bowl of Overnight Oats and the Acai Bowl, and couldn’t resist a Vanilla Nut Mylk, and Chocolate Nut Mylk I selected out of the Grab & Go Case. Let’s start with the superb nut mylks. They were super creamy and full of flavor, indicating there’s no skimping on nuts, these mylks were absolutely outstanding from the first sip to last. The fresh made to order acai blend was also very high quality, smooth and creamy, with toppings of fresh blueberries, strawberry slices, house gluten-free granola, and cacao nibs, sans the honey. Alas, the overnight oats were excellent as well, with an almond milk pour-over, granola, and fresh berries, the oats were hearty, filling, and delicious.
The Vibe
Minimal seating is provided indoors and outside along the front sidewalk. The decor is simple and clean with a leather couch amongst the table seating. Fruits and Roots is a busy place and except for the grab & go juices and mylks, everything is made to order. Therefore if there’s a line, don’t expect fast food productivity times. I promise you the foods and beverages are worth any wait.
