What’s Clean
All of the food served at Good Life Organics is non-GMO, most of the ingredients are organic, and local sourcing is a priority. The coffee, tea, sourdough bread, and house-made almond milk are organic to name just a few. The bottled juices are from a local vendor that uses predominantly organically grown produce, however, the juices are made via HPP means. The ice cream is also not organic.
What’s Served
Good Life Organics serves plant-based fare and boasts an extensive menu that offers smoothies, shakes, smoothie bowls, coffee, tea, superfood specialty drinks, elixirs, and kombucha. In addition, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, quinoa power bowls, Greek yogurt parfaits, breads, and toasts are offered daily.
What I Ordered
I ordered the superfood infused Baked Oatmeal with sliced strawberry, blueberries, and chopped walnuts as toppings. This was my first experience with baked oatmeal and a good one it was. Warm with a cake-like consistency, the wholesome and hearty transformed oatmeal was a surprisingly delicious and filling bowl of yum. The organic fruit toppings were super fresh and perfectly ripened. I would have preferred a bit more fruit and some nut milk poured over the top, otherwise a fantastic dish. I also ordered a Bustin’ Yo Nuts Smoothie without sweetener, which was smooth and creamy. Made with banana, house almond milk, raw almond butter, cacao, and hemp protein, this smoothie was packed with nutrition in every sip, and sweetener was not needed.
The Vibe
Located in the Good Life building which houses a collection of wellness and positive life-based businesses, the farmhouse chic decor is comfortable and new with lots of natural finishes. The beautiful space continues outdoors where you’ll find a patio adorned with umbrella equipped tables.
The Takeaway
At Good Life Organics, the high quality of ingredients and preparation shine through at every glance and with every bite. Hardcore clean and delicious food, smoothies, and bites are what you’ll find every day. In addition, all containers are eco-friendly. Nutrition packed kitchen creations made with uber clean ingredients sets Good Life Organics above the rest. Their second location recently opened in Lancaster, offering the same high-quality clean food and beverages.
