What’s Clean
The Power Of Juice follows the Clean 15/Dirty Dozen protocol and is 100% Vegan. Organic ingredients are clearly labeled on the signage of its raw desserts. Ask for more specifics regarding organic ingredients in the juices, nut milks, and other foods. Plenty of Gluten-Free and raw choices are available.
What’s Served
Although its cold-pressed juices and nut milks are the main draws, the amazing array of mostly organic, vegan, and raw treats is hard to turn away. You’ll find muffins, cookies, pudding, mousse, energy balls, brownies, and bars. Beverages include coffee, cold-brew, tea, kombucha and smoothies made to order.
What I Ordered
The Koko Cacao Cashew Milk is addictive, and if you can have caffeine, opt for the mocha, it’s even better. I’ve sampled many juices, milks, and treats over the years and have never been disappointed. The Purple Haze Lemonade and Buckeye Pudding caught my eye today. Seriously, there are no words to describe the pudding, smooth and addictive as well, with hints of cacao, coconut, and peanut butter. The Lemonade was just as amazing, popping with a pungent lemon flavor yet sweet enough to guzzle.
The Vibe
The Middletown location has more of a rustic neighborhood feel where it shares the space with other clean groceries and body products. A few seats are available indoors, while a nice patio setup is provided outdoors in front of the store.
The Takeaway
It’s always a pleasure to visit The Power Of Juice. I appreciate the transparency in labeling the organic ingredients of the raw snacks and desserts; would like to see more of that here with other menu items. Kudos to The Power Of Juice for using glass jars for the juices, puddings, and nut milks, yay! If you’re looking for the cleanest juice and raw treats around, stop by and give them your business, you won’t be disappointed.
