What’s Clean
Fully Rooted prioritizes the sourcing of their produce from local New England growers and farms, when in season. Extra effort is made to obtain organic and organically grown fruits and veggies when available. When not available locally, Fully Rooted secures a mixture of conventional and organic produce from other parts of the country.
What’s Served
Fully Rooted serves house-made Kombucha and cold-pressed juices on tap. In addition, the Grab & Go case stocks glass-bottled kombucha and cold-pressed juices. Wellness shots, coffee, and raw sugar-free scratch-made treats are also offered.
What I Ordered
I ordered a Green Lemonade which is a cold-pressed juice poured from the tap. With ingredients of Cucumber, Spinach and Green Apple, the juice was fresh and light, almost too light. This was my first experience with juice from a tap, and although refreshing and tasty, the juice seemed a bit watered down. That being said, Fully Rooted states that water is not added to their juices so maybe the Green Lemonade was heavily weighted with Cucumber Juice versus Spinach and Green Apple. Kudos to them for packaging the juices and kombucha in reusable glass bottles. I also grabbed a box of raw “Donut Holes” for the road. The treats had a texture of cookie dough and were quite sweet.
The Vibe
Fully Rooted shares its space with a retail boutique. Modern finishes adorn this clean feelin’ Juice Bar with a few indoor tables and outdoor seating available along the sidewalk in front of the store.
The Takeaway
In addition to the Providence location, Fully Rooted has a smaller shop in Pawtucket which serves as their main kitchen. Fully Rooted Kombucha is served at many local entities including Tallulah’s Taqueria and several Empire Tea & Coffee locations throughout Rhode Island. You’ll also find them at several local Farmers’ Markets during the warmer months.
