Organically Twisted has a small menu of wrapped (rolled) and bowled entrees along with several available add-ons. However, they do offer a daily special, as well as desserts, which are available in the grab and go section. The special of the day was Cauliflower Fried Rice with Carrots, Peas, and Onions served over Greens with a Coconut-Ginger Tamari Sauce. A few of the sweet treats on hand were a Grapefruit Cashew Cupcake, Blueberry Bread, and Raw Vegan Chocolate Mousse.
What I Ordered
I ordered the Mung Bean Taco Salad. To begin with, the base consisted of a bed of Greens topped with Mung Bean, Tortilla Chips, Tomato, Sweet Potato, Black Bean Salsa and Cilantro Sauce. There was no skimping on the ingredients, including the sauce. I was quite surprised by the large portion size, and the produce was super fresh. I’d buy stock in the creamy Cilantro Sauce. The crispness of the carrot slices and purple cabbage paired well with the velvety sweet potatoes and tomatoes. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed the complimenting textures and flavors of this dish, what a dynamite salad.
Located in the Marquesa Shopping Plaza, Organically Twisted boasts a new and nicely decorated interior. Also, you’ll find an inviting outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant. The atmosphere is clean, alive and comfortable.
