Fairhope Health Foods is a smaller sized health food store where you’ll find organic and clean grocery foods in about half the store, while the other half offers supplements and health foods. There’s a limited amount of fresh organic produce and ready-made deli foods such as chicken and tuna salads. There are several aisles of clean shelf-stable foods with lots of gluten-free and vegan options. Frozen clean meats, organic chicken, and organic plant-based meats are offered. You’ll find organic dairy products, plant-based non-dairy, eggs, cheeses, and more in the refrigerated section. They also have a bulk bin foods section, as well as personal care items and wine.
The Takeaway
Fairhope Health Foods is the only dedicated health food store for many many miles. They do offer the best organic and clean food selection around. The store is on the smaller size, but they’ve certainly got the basics covered. Just a head’s up, the prices are quite high compared to the same products found elsewhere.
