Haile Plantation Farmers Market has one of the largest selections of local organic produce and food that I’ve come across in the state of Florida. Approximately 60% of the vendors offer either local dairy, meats or produce. There are numerous local farms in attendance that either use organic growing methods or are officially certified organic. Several local farms at Haile Farmers’ Market also offer 100% Grass Fed Beef. The list of organic vendors goes on and on, including Organic Tempeh, Organic juice, Organic Bakery items, and Organic Coffee.
The Takeaway
Haile Farmers’ Market is a rather large market with many vendors. The quaint little area of downtown Haile is tree covered with an intimate feel. The main street is blocked off and the atmosphere is family and pet friendly. The selection of organic food and produce is unbelievable. Kudos to Gainesville and Haile Plantation for hosting such an amazing Farmers’ Market.
