What’s Offered
Pocono Organics Market is quickly growing in size and currently offers fresh organic produce of which most is locally sourced. A large majority is sourced from Pocono Organics’ own farm or greenhouses. Assorted organic snacks, sauces, and dressings line the shelves. You’ll find healthier brands of sodas, kombuchas, seltzers, frozen vegan pizzas, organic chicken, and more in the refrigerated and freezer section. A limited selection of health and beauty products are also available. And if you happen to stop by before 2 pm any day except Tuesday or Wednesday, don’t miss the amazing and clean breakfast & lunch foods served by their own cafe. The cafe shares its space with the market.
The Takeaway
Pocono Organics is a family-run USDA certified organic farm with a focus on regenerative farming. Fresh organic produce is the main draw here. The available groceries were limited, however, we did visit during Covid and just a month after Pocono Organics opened for business. With almost 400 acres and three triple story greenhouses located behind the market, they’ve only just begun. And don’t forget the cafe which serves ridiculously good clean food and is a must-stop-here-now kinda place. The farm market is open daily from 8 am – 5 pm.
