What’s Offered
The produce that’s in season, ripe, and harvested at Eden East farm will be offered for purchase at the Farmstand. On the day of our visit, their table was full of multiple varieties of chard, colored cauliflower, fennel, radish varieties, kale, several different colored carrots, Brussels sprouts, and bowls of loose-leaf lettuces. In addition, they had a selection of meats, pecans, and fruits. Most of the produce is organically grown. Eden East also serves clean and A-M-A-Z-I-N-G tasting food from their on-site Food Truck. The Food Truck has limited hours, but reservations may be made for their pre-fixe dinners offered just a few times per week. Check out our Food Truck Review here.
The Takeaway
Eden East was the biggest surprise of my Austin trip. The display of their harvest at the Farmstand was a beautiful site to see. A great place to venture off the beaten path in the East Austin area. And the food…I can’t brag on them enough…sooo yummy! The Farmstand at Eden East is only open Wednesday & Saturday 9am-1pm. And don’t forget to make a reservation if you want to experience their amazing pre-fixed 5-course meals on Friday & Saturday nights.
