What’s Clean
At Little Goat Coffee Roasting Co, you guessed it, they roast the beans themselves. Sourced from Central and South American regions such as Peru, Guatemala, Colombia, Nicaragua, as well as Ethiopia and other places around the world where coffee beans are organically grown. The dairy milk is organic and local, available in full fat and low-fat varieties. The alternative milks are not organic.
What’s Served
The menu is limited to hot and cold coffee drinks offered every which way as well as teas, including matcha and chai varieties. Coffee selections vary daily based on what they have roasted.
What I Ordered
I ordered a Decaf Mocha Latte with organic and local full-fat dairy milk. Strong and bold, the coffee here is definitely on a different level. High-quality ingredients are evident at first sip. I wasn’t able to obtain information regarding the chocolate part of this mocha latte, but again, the richness speaks for itself. There’s no skimping on quality ingredients and roasting methods at Little Goat Coffee Roasting Co.
The Vibe
The setting for Little Goat Coffee Roasting Co is a small older wooden home with tons of character. A large outdoor deck wraps along 2 sides of the house where outdoor tables are provided. We visited during Covid so entry to the interior was prohibited. However, we did peek through the windows and the inside is loaded with charm, including wood floors that are worn to perfect art. There is a welcoming bar that overlooks the Barista’s station, comfy-cozy upholstered couches, and plenty of tables scattered throughout.
The Takeaway
Careful and selective sourcing of organically grown beans from farms practicing Fair Trade is a high priority for the owners. Little Goat Coffee Roasting Co does things right from start to finish and the coffee is delish and top-notch in every way.
