What’s Clean
At Raw & Juicy, approximately 95% of everything served is organic and most of the menu is scratch-made, including the Sangria and mixes for the Cocktails. The majority of dishes offered are vegan with vegetarian and gluten-free options.
What’s Served
Breakfast consists of Biscuit Sandwiches, Egg & Greens, Overnight Oats, and several Sides. Smoothies, Cold-Pressed Juices, and an Acai Bowl are offered all day. The lunch menu adds Flatbreads and almost 10 entrees including a Burrito, Buddha Bowl, and a Loaded Baked Potato Skillet. You’ll also find Kombucha on tap, Coffee served every way possible, hot tea – Rishi, Cocktails, Mocktails, Irish Coffee with alcohol, Beer, and Wine.
What I Ordered
We arrived for breakfast and ordered Eggs & Greens, and an Acai Bowl. The organic greens were super fresh, while the sliced avocado was perfectly ripened and the eggs cooked as I requested, over medium. A healthy fresh dish it was, but I wasn’t too crazy about the vinegar-based dressing mixing with the eggs. The acai bowl was outstanding. The acai is blended to order, then topped with fresh banana, sliced strawberries, plump blueberries, bee pollen, hemp seeds, granola, and creamy peanut butter…need I say more? Simply superb. On another occasion, I chose a Coconut Macaroon and an Organic Hand Made Ginger Lime Soda. The macaroon was beyond good and the soda was tasty and refreshing, loved that they topped it with fresh organic fruit.
The Vibe
Wow, the setting at Raw & Juicy is just gorgeous. The patio, indoor seating, bar area complete with calming waterfall, and exterior are stunning. Large family-sized tables are available as well as traditional 4 tops. Much of the alfresco dining tables are equipped with umbrellas while others are not. There’s even a fire pit in the center of the charming patio. On occasion, live music and free concerts are offered in the outdoor area.
The Takeaway
Love, love, love Raw & Juicy, it is a must-stop for me when anywhere near Alys Beach. Their scratch-made recipes are drool-worthy and it’s so nice to eat such delicious food without having to wonder if you’re ingesting chemicals and bad stuff with that salad. The venue is absolutely stunning and perfect for any occasion. Raw & Juicy is THE place to eat a clean breakfast, lunch, or enjoy healthy cocktails in Alys Beach, FL!
