What I Ordered
I ordered the Barefoot Kiwi Acai Bowl and a Cacao Nut Mylk. Yum, Yum, Yum! The nut mylk was creamy and chocolatey if that’s such a word, bottom line, it was not watered down or filled with a protein powder like some I’ve sampled. The Acai Bowl was huge and scrumptious, and the toppings were super fresh. There’s no skimping on toppings or quality at Escape Root Juicery. The Acai Bowl was, for sure, one of the top 5 Acai Bowls I’ve ever tasted. Their presentation is pretty special as well. The views of their kitchen creations passing by are not only beautiful, but drool inspiring.
The Vibe
Escape Root Juicery is a hip and comfy little juice shop with lots of character and a relaxing feel. It’s a cross between a neighborhood hangout where everyone knows your name and a beachside cafe…without the beach. Grab a seat and take a chill at the couch, bar or table.
The Takeaway
There are many juice and smoothie establishments sprouting up these days, but Escape Root Juicery stands out among the crowd. In addition to all organic or organically grown ingredients, the taste and quality are above and beyond. I so appreciate when juicers pack the juice and nut mylks in glass containers, extra points are earned for keeping it cleaner without the use of plastic. Whether you’re looking for a delicious morning coffee, a breakfast smoothie, or a mid-afternoon Acai Bowl treat, you won’t be disappointed. Don’t miss out and get there early, they close daily at 3 pm. Pure love!!
