On the menu at Back to Eden Cafe, you’ll find a variety of salads, juices, smoothies, dips, sandwiches, wraps, and daily specials. Just about everything is made fresh to order, including their juices and smoothies.
What I Ordered
Because so many of the menu items sounded so enticingly good, deciding what to order was a bit challenging. Eventually, I chose the scratch-made Veggie Burger and I was elated with my choice. The panini-style sandwich arrived with a Side Salad that looked almost too beautiful to eat. The bean-based burger was warm and moist with a savory flavor while set between 2 perfectly pressed pieces of bread. I was blown away with this veggie burger and although I arrived with an already full belly, I couldn’t stop eating this divine sandwich. Overall, the veggie burger was off the charts in every category and I do believe one of the top Veggie Burgers to ever touch my palate…ever. Oh, and the salad rocked as well; the lettuce was fresh and crisp while the Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing embodied the perfect balance of sweet and sharp.
The Vibe
Back to Eden Cafe is close to the beach and occupies a small cottage turned restaurant with vibrant colors. Surrounding the front of the restaurant, you’ll find picnic tables while several tables are provided inside as well.
The Takeaway
Back to Eden Cafe is a small 1 person operation where almost everything is made to order. Therefore, if you’re in a big hurry, don’t be, because the food here is worth the wait. Finally, the chef/owner, Maria is quite talented and her wonderful recipes and commitment to utilizing clean ingredients are greatly appreciated. Stop by Back to Eden Cafe and experience a delectable vegan meal, you won’t be disappointed.
