All of the ingredients used in their baked goods are organic! The amazing sourdough based breads are fermented and they also make their organic pasta in house. The soups are organic and most of the produce is as well, ask for more specifics. Everything on the menu is scratch-made with love.

In addition to the bakery goods and many varieties of sourdough bread and pasta, Vine Sourdough Bakery serves a daily quiche, pizza, sandwiches, organic soups, and tartines. Beverages include organic coffee, beer, and wine.
What I Ordered
I’ve visited Vine Sourdough Bakery on many occasions and have tried several baked items and pastries, breads, soups, and quiche. For this review, I ordered the Red Pepper, Tomato and Cheddar Quiche, a Butternut Squash Soup, a Chocolate Croissant for me and a Guava Cream Cheese Croissant for my boy. The Quiche was light, fluffy and delish and the Croissants were as good as they get. I could definitely detect the high-quality chocolate…savory and not too sweet. The Soup was delectable; thick and hearty with sprigs of rosemary throughout…pure down-home goodness with every bite.

Strictly the basics with old decor, possibly from the 70’s, and simple furnishings.
The Takeaway
Vine Sourdough Bakery is a hidden gem in Gainesville and one of the few organic bakeries in the entire state of Florida. I so appreciate their commitment to using organic ingredients. The food and baked creations are crazy good at Vine Sourdough; love, love, love me some Vine!
