Most of the ingredients are organic on a consistent basis, local when in season and always non-GMO; ask for more specifics. Everything they serve is vegan and soy free, with many gluten free options.
The menu at Screaming Carrots is extensive with a strong Thai and Mediterranean influence. Menu offerings include breakfast all day, appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, mains, dessert, organic shakes, juices, and teas. A few inviting entrees on the menu include Spanish Paella with Tofu Saffron, Pad Thai, and Penang Curry. They have a kids menu as well and although they do not serve beer or wine, you are welcome to bring your own.
What I Ordered
For my review, I ordered the Spring Rolls and the Vegetable Fried Rice. Loved the spring rolls, especially the house made peanut sauce which had a delightful taste that was not overwhelmed with the typical salty soy sauce flavor. Overall, the fried rice was good..nice and moist with veggies cooked to perfection, but a bit bland. Most of the plates leaving the kitchen looked amazing.
The restaurant is small with simple decor and a neighborhood feel.
Screaming Carrots is a plant based establishment with conscientious owners. It was so nice to experience clean and delish Thai food, yum! I’m looking forward to my next visit
