At A-Live & Healthy Cafe, almost every ingredient is organic. All of the menu items and grab & go foods are raw, vegan and mostly scratch-made in house.
What’s Served
The menu offers raw and organic entrees, juices, salads, desserts, and smoothies. Entrees include such creations as Buffalo Cauliflower, Raw Pizza made with a flax seed crust, and Reuben A-Live. There is a nice assortment of grab & go items that include desserts such as Raw Pumpkin Pie, Raw Carrot Cake Bites and Raw Apple Pie. You’ll also find sauces, spreads, and entrees such as Broccoli Quiche in the refrigerated section. Last, but not least, enticing house made dehydrated snacks align a few shelves along the right side of the restaurant.
What I Ordered
I sampled the Chocolate Avocado Pudding, a Lively Lemonade and a Nibble Plate which is a complimentary sampling of all their house made dehydrated snacks. The avocado pudding was some of the best I’ve ever had, chocolatey, and so creamy. The fresh and lively lemonade was pungent yet smooth, so refreshing. The sampling of raw dehydrated snacks was a mixture of so many different nibbles, all were delightful and what a nice added touch.
The Vibe
A-Live & Healthy Cafe is a nice little eatery with modest decor. Moreover, the owner and staff are knowledgable and delightful.
The Takeaway
I’ll be back to sample the Raw Pizza and satisfy my sweet tooth fix via the raw apple pie and raw carrot cake bites. They are located in the Home Depot shopping center, in a strip mall type setting. A-Live & Healthy Cafe is one of a kind in the Space Coast area. Raw cuisine together with organic is a rare find, regardless of location. Stop by and support this locally owned and operated special restaurant where genuine concern for the quality and cleanliness of their provisions is obvious.
