What’s Served
Wow, where do I begin? The cafe serves breakfast, lunch & dinner during specific times, see our hours menu. Breakfast choices include Quiche of the Day, Sprouted Pancakes, and a Spanish Burrito to name a few. Lunch entrees include Rotisserie Chicken, Salmon Cakes and Sauteed Eggplant over Couscous as well as a list of sides. In addition, they offer Salads, Wraps, Soups, Sandwiches and a large list of daily specials like Raw Taco Salad and the Mushroom Swiss Burger. You can also order beer or wine at the cafe. At the Organic Coffee & Juice Bar, the menu consists of Veggie Juices made to order, Fruit Smoothies, Coffee Drinks, and Milkshakes with Vegan Options.
What I Ordered
I arrived in time for lunch, ordered the quiche and vegetable soup and left with a big grin on my face…I get so excited when I find a great place! The quiche literally melted upon arrival to my mouth and was some of the best I’ve had in a while, so fluffy and light with the perfect blend of zucchini, squash, and cheese. The soup was hearty yet the broth was light and tasty with a plethora of mixed vegetables in every spoonful.
The Vibe
Food & Thought is certainly a bustling place. Counter service is provided but be prepared to stand in line a bit, however, it’s totally worth it. Outdoor seating is available in a partially covered patio area lush with green landscape. A small number of tables are provided inside as well.
The Takeaway
Another gem in the running for the top 20 Clean Foodie Florida list of best clean food restaurants. One of my favorite markets in the country thus far, second only to Erewhon in Venice CA because of the house-made organic meals and grab and go options; real food, not just smoothies and juice! And of course, the grocery store is awesome as well. Wait, there’s more…Thoughtful Threads, which carries organic clothing and personal items is right next store, just another incredible branch of Food & Thought. If you’re in the Naples area, this is a must-stop-here-now kind of place!
