What’s Clean
At ActivAte Acai Bowls & Smoothie Cafe, you’ll find mostly organic ingredients including all of the fresh fruit, nut butters, coconut milk, and there amazing hemp granola. The staff was unable to confirm whether the acai and pitaya are organic, however, they are non-GMO and are sweetened without sugar. The coffee, bread, almond milk, oat milk, and Nutella are not organic. ActivAte buys local when available and offers many vegan and gluten free choices. All of the ingredients in the cold pressed juices and smoothies are organic. The cold pressed juice is made in house. The acai and pitaya are scooped, not fresh blended.

ActivAte serves Acai and Pitaya Bowls, Veggie and Fruit Smoothies, Acai and Pitaya Cones, Cold Brew Coffee, Cappuccino, Espresso, and Dessert Toasts.
What I Ordered
I ordered a customized Grow-Your-Own-Bowl with acai. Toppings of choice included coconut oil, coconut flakes, pineapple, strawberries, blackberries, hemp granola, and finished with an almond butter drizzle. The acai bowl was packed with flavor and fresh fruit resulting in a pretty darn good acai bowl, yep! And I must say, the hemp granola was the best gluten free granola I’ve tasted. With just the right amount of crunch and a mild flavor, the granola is a treat on its own.
The Vibe
ActivAte is located in the Dolphin Plaza on International Drive across from Sea World. Indoor seating is provided in a simply decorated space accented with fun colors. Counter service is provided.
The Takeaway
You must try the activated charcoal cone; it’s good enough to eat by itself, truly! Made locally, and for sure the best tasting cone in Orlando…GF and Vegan too! ActivAte Acai Bowls & Smoothie Cafe is a welcomed clean eating destination in the International Drive area; it’s slim pickins’ near the tourist spots.
