At Erin McKenna’s NYC Bakery in Disney Springs, several of the ingredients in their baked goods and toppings are organic. Everything served is dairy free, soy free, nut free (except for coconut), vegan, gluten free, and kosher. All of the baked goods are made in house. The main ingredients in the frostings are organic cold pressed coconut oil, organic coconut milk, and organic agave. The primary flours used are brown rice flour and garbanzo bean flour. What’s Served
Although cupcakes are the main draw at Erin McKenna’s, you’ll also find a scrumptious assortment of freshly baked treats. Specifically, donuts, cookies, cinnamon rolls, eclairs, whoopie pies, specialty cakes, and even bagels are ready and waiting.
What I Ordered
I’ve sampled several baked goods from Erin McKenna’s over the years. For this review, I’ve chosen the Cinnamon Sugar Donut as well as the Chocolate Vanilla Cupcake. The texture of the donut was dense but certainly moist and did not fall apart when bit into. The taste was excellent, and I would never guess that it was gluten free or for that matter free of anything out of the ordinary. Overall, the donut was not far off from what you’d expect from a cinnamon sugar donut made with traditional or typical ingredients. The Cupcake was much of the same, delicious with no complaints. However, based on experience, the frosting melts quickly in the Florida sun so gobble immediately or plan accordingly!

Erin McKenna’s NYC Bakery is located in a quieter spot along the streets of Disney Springs. Seating is not available inside the bakery, however, a few tables are provided outside in front along the walkway.
The Takeaway
Wow, much respect to you Erin McKenna! Creating such mouthwatering and tasty treats from non-traditional ingredients is just plain ingenious. Free of so many things, yet still tasty and delectable, the baked treats at Erin McKenna’s are worth the trip.
