What’s Clean
The meat served at Farm & Haus is clean, local and 100% grass fed. The pork is local, clean and raised humanely. On average, about 75% of the produce is organic or organically grown. The eggs are pastured and local, but not organic. The chicken, bread, flour, and tortilla wraps are also not organic.
What’s Served
Breakfast is served all day every day and that menu includes egg dishes, burritos, bowls, biscuits and one of, if not the best Avocado Toasts in town. The lunch/dinner menu offers soups, salads, wraps, grain, and noodle bowls.
What I Ordered
I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, but my faves are: the Avocado Toast with Egg on top, the Chicken Pho, the Wakey Wakey Bowl, and the Coconut Curry Fall Root Vegetables & Jasmine Rice, when in season. Oh, and the Chicken Pot Pie when I permit myself to indulge. The Avo toast is a meal in itself, and delish. The Sourdough Bread is non-GMO, baked locally with no preservatives or additives. The Wakey Wakey Bowl is a beautiful medley of scrambled eggs, housemade guacamole, salsa, pickled onions – house made of course, and shaved local radish. So good! The Coconut Curry and Rice is a huge portion of yum in a bowl. Part soup and part rice bowl, I love how the rice absorbs the curry flavor and that coconut milk is used as the base. Large pieces of root veggies find their home in this savory concoction.
The Vibe
Farm & Haus is one of the clean restaurants I frequent inside this smaller sized food hall known as East End Market. It is a hip and busy place, complete with 2 outdoor seating areas, both with shade cover from the Florida sun. Watch them prepare your order and try not to eat it all before you return to your seat. One of…ok I have to admit, East End Market is my favorite place in Orlando and I’m a frequent flyer at Farm & Haus. The vibes of the different vendors are a mix of rustic to shabby chic to modern and Farm & Haus leans more towards the rustic side.
The Takeaway
Farm & Haus always creates yummy delicious food from scratch. It’s a lovely, fun and hip atmosphere mixed with local comfort food, a must stop when in Orlando. Also, Farm & Haus has nightly dinner dishes not listed on the menu that are available via online ordering. First come first served. You can pick it up at a select time or they also offer delivery. Much love for you Farm & Haus!
