What’s Served
Purple Ocean keeps it simple with a limited menu. They serve Acai and Pitaya Bowls, Açaí on Buckwheat Waffles, a few smoothies, and grab & go drinks. Sofrito Hummus is occasionally on the menu as well. Gluten-free options are available.
What I Ordered
I ordered the Combate Acai Bowl and substituted strawberries for the banana. The Acai was surrounded with perfectly ripened fruit toppings and overall an excellent Acai Bowl. But wait, there’s more…the presentation was over the top; a beautiful work of art complete with an edible hibiscus flower. It should be noted that the acai is not blended fresh, but is of the ready-made scooped variety.

The Takeaway
Purple Ocean puts a lot of effort into the creation of their bowls. A sister Food Truck is located outside of the Florida Mall near Foot Locker. They can also be found at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market on Sat mornings and at UCF on Monday afternoons. Check them out on social media for updates on remote locations.
