All of the ingredients at Purple Ocean are vegan, raw, and organic, except for the Nutella and Honey. The acai is not blended fresh, but is of the ready-made scooped variety.
What’s Served
Purple Ocean keeps it simple with a limited menu. They serve Acai and Pitaya Bowls, Açaí on Buckwheat Waffles, a few smoothies, and grab & go drinks. Sofrito Hummus is occasionally on the menu as well. Gluten-free options are available.
What I Ordered
I’ve enjoyed many acai bowls at Purple Ocean but for today’s review, I chose the Combate Acai Bowl and substituted strawberries for the banana. The Acai was surrounded with perfectly ripened fruit toppings and overall an excellent Acai Bowl. But wait, there’s more…the presentation was over the top; a beautiful work of art complete with an edible hibiscus flower.

The Takeaway
Purple Ocean puts a lot of effort into the creation of its bowls. Sister Food Trucks are located outside of the Florida Mall near Foot Locker, and on E Colonial Dr in Orlando, and at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings. Check them out on social media for updates on remote locations.
