At Green Wave Cafe, nearly all of the ingredients used are organic. The restaurant is 100% plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free and raw.
The Green Wave Cafe serves appetizers, salads, entrees, dessert, and a kid’s menu. Entrees include Pizza, Sandwiches and Lettuce Boat Tacos. They also have organic produce for sale as well as a good assortment of grab & go treats.
What I Ordered
I sampled the Red Bean Soup which was the only warm menu item, and the Cheese Burger made with a nut base and sandwiched between 2 pieces of house-made onion and flax bread. Definitely a clean meal! I also sampled the Vanilla Chip nut-based ice cream with a nut-based Brownie for dessert, all house-made. Unfortunately, the taste was average on all items.
The cafe is a bare-bones kind of place with older decor.
Monday mornings they host a Farmers’ Market in the restaurant from 8am-11:30 am offering organic produce and more. Green Wave Cafe certainly serves clean food in its raw state, I just wasn’t impressed with the taste quality of the food.
