What’s Clean
Most of the ingredients at The Sanibel Sprout are organic and they strive to use as many local ingredients as possible. Ask for more specifics. The coffee is always organic. The nut mylks are not organic nor are they made in house.
What’s Served
Sanibel Sprout is a Vegan Restaurant with an extensive menu. They serve breakfast all day, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, coffee, juices, and smoothies.
What I Ordered
I ordered the Spring Rolls and the Pho Soup. The Spring Rolls were freshly made and loaded with veggies, but not the best tasting; they were a little bland. Unfortunately, the Pho was not good at all. That being said, I don’t think I made the best menu choices because a lot of the food passing by looked amazing. After seeing other dishes and speaking with fellow patrons who were more than thrilled with their meals, I would suggest the Coconut BLT or the Classic Burger. For my next review, I will order one of each.
The Vibe
Sanibel Sprout occupies a small space and the dining area is typically full. The decor is nothing fancy and split where one side feels like a neighborhood diner (sans the grease and eggs) and the other feels more like a bookstore complete with couch-like chairs.
The Takeaway
Sanibel Sprout serves the cleanest food on the island! Kudos to this Vegan Restaurant for going the extra mile and serving us clean, and mostly organic food.
