What’s Served
You’ll find coffee served every way including espresso, frozen, nitro, iced and hot. In addition, Amavida Coffee & Tea serves hot chocolate, tea, and a few fruit smoothies with protein as an option. Bagged Organic coffee is for sale in the store as well as kombucha, bottled juice, and sodas. They also serve fresh baked goods. Menu creations include White Mocha, Cappu-Latte, Chai Latte, Cortado, Iced Matcha, and Frozen Java Chip. Amavida also offers a kids menu.
What I Ordered
It was difficult choosing between the 3 types of Hot Chocolate on the menu: Classic, Belgian Dark, and Mayan Spice. Ultimately, I chose their Classic Hot Chocolate made with organic coconut mylk…divine! And of course, I opted for the whipped cream topping which arrived with drizzles of chocolate sauce along the top. Amavida steamed the coconut mylk, which made for a light and airy hot chocolate. The rich taste of chocolate was distinctive and yes, the frothy cup of hot chocolate was gone in a matter of minutes. My traveling buddy opted for the Cappu-Latte, and yes, she was moaning with every sip.
The Vibe
Amavida Coffee & Tea is a happening coffee shop close to the beach. They provide a bar area and outdoor seating in the lovely and quaint Seaside community. It’s a flip flop and java kind of place.
The Takeaway
I happen to be partial to Amavida Coffee & Tea and everything they stand for. They are doing good things correctly, in the sustainable and clean food worlds. Amavida is a Certified B Corporation which is no easy task to attain, big Kudos to them. And of course, they serve fantastic tasting and super clean coffee, as well as other delish treats.
