What’s Clean
Most ingredients used in the smoothies, salads, and bowls are organically grown with an emphasis on locally grown. The shrimp is local and wild-caught. The Tofu is certified organic while the wraps and chips are not. Ask for more specifics. Vegan options are available and all of the dressings are made in house.
What’s Served
Crave’s menu includes smoothies, wraps, salads, and grain or green bowls. Numerous wraps and bowls are available for every diet, including vegan and pescatarian. Options to build your own Wraps, Bowls, Salads, and Smoothies are also offered.
What I Ordered
We ordered the Nectar of the Gods Smoothie which was a combo of pineapple, mango, banana, and coconut water, over the top in taste, yum! And yes, it was good enough to think it was truly sent from the gods.
The Vibe
Since our review, Crave has upgraded from a Food Truck to a brick and mortar location in downtown St Augustine. We haven’t been to the new location yet, however, the online photos look like it’s a new and modern space with shabby chic decor. Outdoor seating is available on the sidewalk surrounded by greenery, as well as indoors.
The Takeaway
Great tasting food made with mostly local produce of which some is organic or organically grown. We are looking forward to visiting the new location. Leave a review and let us know how it is.
