What’s Clean
For the most part, the produce is clean depending on the season and availability. During the cooler seasons, some of the produce is actually grown and harvested from their own garden. The majority of the proteins are clean as well with a strong emphasis on local sourcing. Ask for more specifics.
What’s Served
Bistro BT serves an enticing combination of French and Vietnamese influenced cuisine. On the menu, you’ll find starters, comfort and hearty entrees, salads, and classic Vietnamese entrees. Hence, a few of the delectable dishes on the menu include Banh Mi Sandwiches, Chili Chicken Cabbage Salad, a Grass Fed Burger and Smoked Duck Bruschetta.
What I Ordered
I ordered the Pho Noodle Soup and it is the best I’ve ever had. Bistro BT takes their culinary creations quite seriously. For example, with over 20 ingredients in the broth alone, the complex yet light broth actually takes days to prepare. Fresh wide rice noodles, along with basil, shallots, onions, bean sprouts and cilantro combined, round out the accompaniments. And finally, don’t forget the fresh lime wedge, with a choice of Sriracha and/or hoisin sauce. The freshness of this beauty in a bowl was apparent with each slurp, the noodles were cooked to perfection and the flavorful broth was a step above…actually 2 steps above.
The Vibe
The dining area consists of one open space with chic and modern furnishings. Lots of natural wood finishes and an overall clean and inviting feel. Everything was in impeccable order from the wine glasses stored on the open air shelves, to the neat crisp place settings.
The Takeaway
Bistro BT serves amazing tasting Asian Fusion food made with fresh clean ingredients. The chef/proprietor BT Nguyen is very conscientious about every detail, and knows the importance of eating clean. The Pho Noodle Soup is something I will remember for a long time. I’m pretty sure I’d be there for lunch every day if I could, and if I missed lunch, I’d be there for dinner – hah! Bistro BT is a Must-Stop-Here-Now kind of place, thank me later.
