The majority of ingredients used at Pure Kitchen are organic, but not all. A lot depends on the season, ask for specifics.
It’s a grab & go kind of place, but brunch is made to order every Saturday morning. Pre-made meals are available and include salads, soup, entrees, and desserts. The menu changes based on availability of ingredients. A few staples are the Chickpea Couscous Bowl, Taco Salad, Cold Pad Thai, Spaghetti “Meat” Sauce with Eggplant, Asian Sesame Noodle, Jerk Fried Rice and Coconut Black Eyed Pea Curry.
What I Ordered
I stopped by for brunch and had the Eggs Benedict, oops I mean Vegan Benedict. The meal arrived with a side of fresh fruit. The Benedict was served on an English muffin with tofu cashew hollandaise sauce, sautéed onion, avocado, spinach, and dehydrated portobello. There are no words…a moist and gooey plate of yum that not only tasted better than a traditional Eggs Benny, but also looked like it.
Pure Kitchen is a tiny place with just a few seats available at the bar.
The food is some of the best vegan I’ve ever tasted, with an amazing array of choices available to-go. Good stuff!! Another “must stop” in Tampa!
