What I Ordered
I ordered a Green Smoothie which began with a base of spinach, kale, chard, and seeds. Next, I opted for the Flo-Grown Organic Blend consisting of strawberries, mango, and OJ. That proved to be a good combo, the smoothie was refreshing, nutritious and flavorful. On my next visit, the Acai Bowl was calling my name. I ordered the RSC Acai Bowl which was topped with pineapple, strawberries, cacao nibs, hemp seeds, GF granola, and large coconut flakes. The bowl was packed with varying textures and super fresh fruit, delish! There’s no skimping with the toppings crowning their bowls. Raw Smoothie Co makes some of the prettiest and most colorful bowls around. The acai is blended to order, not scooped and heavily sweetened like the pre-made varieties, which is much appreciated.
The Vibe
Raw Smoothie Co is a small treat shop with a neighborhood feel and fun vibe. A limited amount of seating is available inside as well as a few tables outside on the sidewalk.
The Takeaway
Raw Smoothie Co does things right by specializing in bowls and smoothies, using clean ingredients, and turning out some amazing creations. They take nutrition and clean eating seriously. Thank you Raw Smoothie Co for serving yummy, real food. Looking forward to my next visit! In the Fall of 2019, their second location will be opening in the Ballast Point area of Tampa, yay!
