What’s Served
The menu at Upbeet is extensive, offering grain bowls, salad bowls, yogurt and smoothie bowls, toasts, smoothies, lattes, coffees, teas, and housemade specialty drinks. They also serve beer and wine.
What I Ordered
We each opted for a build your own grain bowl. My base was bamboo rice and arugula, topped with pomegranate seeds, sauteed golden beets, pine nuts, pico and a few other toppings with a house-made balsamic vinaigrette drizzled on top. Wow, absolutely amazing, I do believe I devoured this bowl in world record time. My sidekick started with a quinoa base covered with chickpeas, marinated heirloom tomatoes, kale, and pine nuts all topped with Sriracha sauce, again, so delish. I also sampled the Charcoal Lemonade…addicting!
The Vibe
Upbeet is new, clean and occupies a large open space with a modern farmhouse vibe. Upbeet is always busy and bustling.
The Takeaway
This chic and mostly organic restaurant is a top 10 Cleanfoodie pick in GA for sure. The quality and taste of the ingredients are top-notch and any non-organic ingredients are clearly posted for all to see. Using all organic ingredients in a juice and smoothie bar is one thing, but accomplishing that at a restaurant of this magnitude with such an extensive menu is an amazing and very rare accomplishment. Thank you Upbeet for your transparency and for bringing us this amazing concept. Upbeet is a true gift to us Clean Foodie’s and a must stop!
