What’s Clean
At Yeah! Burger, clean ingredients are the majority. Clean burger choices include pasture-raised organic bison, 100% grass-fed beef, organic chicken & turkey, and organic veggies are used in the house-made veggie burgers. Several of the burger toppings and sauces are organic as is the vegan bun option. Most of the produce in the salads is organic, as well as the potatoes and onions for the fries and rings. Local sourcing is also a priority at Yeah! Burger. Gluten-free options are plentiful and include 8 of the 10 sides offered, and gluten-friendly beer and cider. Many vegan choices can be found throughout the menu as well. Several of the wines are organic, as are the juices, teas, milk, and cold brew. The turkey and Tempeh bacon choices are also organic. The fried selections are fried with Non-GMO sunflower oil.
What’s Served
Yeah! Burger serves burgers made every which way, and a whole lot more. Burger options include beef, bison, turkey, chicken, and crab. In addition, plant-based burger choices include Impossible Burgers, Beyond Burgers, house-made veggie, and vegan burgers. Locally baked, gluten-free, vegan organic, and collard wrap bun choices are also offered. Salads, hot dogs, 10 sides, a kiddie menu, and all kinds of ice cream concoctions round out the menu. With sides such as Crazy Cauliflower, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Napa Coleslaw, and Truffle Parmesan Fries, it might be hard to choose only one. As for beverages, the craft beer selection is extensive, including gluten-friendly varieties and ciders. All of the wine choices are either organic or sustainable. Craft cocktails, kombucha, craft sodas, and organic teas are also available.
What I Ordered
I ordered from the “Build Your Own” section and chose the double-stacked local and 100% grass-fed beef, topped with American cheese, house-made Yeah! sauce, wrapped in bibb lettuce. Toppings included caramelized onions, thickly sliced pickles, sauteed local mushrooms, and since it was cheat-nite, I sprang for the bacon as well. Sweet potato fries were calling my name as a side choice which arrived warm with an ever so slight crunch and just the right amount of salt. The burger was a homerun in every category. Messy and flavorful with pickle slices that popped with every bite, it was quite evident that the ingredients were uber fresh. Loved the Yeah! Sauce which is their play on Russian dressing, and the moist burger patties which were not too thick or thin, but just right!
The Vibe
Yeah! Burger boasts a casual space with a farmhouse feel. Plenty of table seating is provided with many situated in a covered open-air section along the outskirts of the building.
The Takeaway
So far, this is the cleanest burger joint that we’ve found in the US. Aside from that, the burgers are fresh and yummy while offering creative sides, with many vegan, plant-based, and GF options. And don’t forget the extensive beverage list including craft libations. The folks at Yeah! Burger take eating clean seriously and offer up some fantastic clean burger options. Thank you Yeah! Burger, rockstars you are!
