What’s Clean
At Our Daily Bread Cafe, the juices, produce, flour, milk, and many of the ingredients used throughout the menu are organic, ask for more specifics. In addition, most of the menu items are scratch-made in-house except for the non-dairy milks. That includes bread and baked goods. They also offer many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
What’s Served
The lunch menu at Our Daily Bread Cafe offers Po’Boys, sandwiches, salads, platters, veggie burgers, and wraps. Juice, smoothies, soup, coffee, and a few other items are served all day. The larger lunch menu is served from 11am-3pm every day except Sunday.
What I Ordered
I arrived after lunch hours, therefore the menu was limited. I ordered the house-made soup of the day which was Roasted Root Vegetable. The soup, served with a side of almond crackers, was quite tasty, hearty, and filling.
The Vibe
Located in a grocery/health food store, it’s an older space with a cafe area that is on the smaller side with very basic furnishings.
The Takeaway
Nothing fancy, but the cafe food at Our Daily Bread is pretty clean, mostly housemade, and very reasonably priced.
