Breads on Oak is an Artisan Plant-Based Bakery. All of the flours used at this bakery are organic. Most of the other ingredients are organic as well.

Breakfast biscuit sandwiches and lunch sandwiches, quiche, soup, salad, coffee, cake, muffins, breads, and pastries.
What I Ordered
We ordered the organic vegan Cinnamon Walnut Brioche Roll and an Avocado Toast. The cinnamon roll was quite indulgent, moist, and delish with just the right amount of cinnamon, walnuts and iced topping. The Avo Toast was spot on; loved the added touch of olive oil spread on the toast before adding the avocado, sunflower seeds, and cilantro. One of the better avo toasts I’ve had the pleasure of devouring.
The Vibe
Breads on Oak is a quiet neighborhood hangout. They have a lovely and quiet outdoor courtyard-style seating area in the back of the bakery. Seven tables are located inside with about the same outside.
The Takeaway
Quite the amazing bakery, I do have to say. I’m impressed with their clean ingredient efforts and their ample assortment of clean baked goods, all the while never compromising on taste. The staff was super friendly as well. So yum, thank you Breads on Oak! They also have another location at 222 Carondelet St. in downtown New Orleans.
