What’s Clean
The juices and smoothies at The Green Fork are made with mostly organic ingredients. All of the Juices, Smoothies, Shots and Smoothie bowls are made to order. However, their juices are not cold pressed. The remainder of the menu, including the Grab & Go choices, are created with mostly Organic ingredients as well. Please ask for more specifics.
What’s Served
In addition to the shots, bowls, juices, and smoothies, they have an extensive Grab & Go selection in the refrigerated section. There, you’ll find Small Plates, Organic Salads, Organic Soups, Desserts, and Fresh Baked items. Several Gluten Free options are available as well. Aside from their clean and yummy creations, what I love most about The Green Fork is the names of their smoothies and juices. Some of their actual smoothie names are LOL, Tickle, Chuckle, and Giggle. Just reading the menu makes me smile.
What I Ordered
I ordered the Serenity Smoothie which was hearty, fresh and delish. The smoothie was a definite winner in all categories. Although I haven’t had the pleasure of sampling any of their soups, it’s certainly on my bucket list. The rather large jars of scratch made soups are fully visible in the grab & go refrigerated section. If looks are any indication of taste, then they are sure to be winners. The next time I’m in Louisiana, I will definitely be stopping by at least one of The Green Fork locations to score me some of that mostly organic, scratch made, glorious soup.
The Vibe
The Green Fork is a quaint little juice and smoothie bar on a corner in a relatively quiet area of NOLA. Outdoor seating is provided with just a few tables inside.
The Takeaway
Nothing fancy in atmosphere but definitely a great spot to grab a clean plate, juice or smoothie in NOLA. Check out their sister locations in Covington Louisiana and Metairie Louisiana.
