Just about every ingredient, food, and beverage served at Revitalive Cafe & Juice Bar is Organic. In addition, the entire menu is Vegan, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Dairy-Free, and Peanut-Free. Most everything is also scratch-made as well.
What’s Served
Revitalive Cafe & Juice Bar offers grain & green bowls, acai & pitaya bowls, smoothies, cold-pressed juice, toasts, soup, paninis, coffee, tea, wellness shots, and fresh-baked desserts. You’ll also find a limited amount of small plates available in the grab & go case including salads, snacks, parfaits, and puddings. Juice cleanses are also offered.
What I Ordered
I ordered an Acai Bowl and a Cream of Broccoli Soup. The Acai Bowl was blended to order and thankfully made without any added sugar. The toppings of strawberry and banana, were fresh and perfectly ripened, while the GF granola was crunchy and tasty. All in all a very enjoyable Acai Bowl. Unfortunately, the soup was just mediocre. However, I was able to visit the Andover location and ordered an Avocado Toast served on a GF Sweet-Potato Biscuit, and wow! I can’t say enough about the Sweet-Potato Biscuit which looks more like a bagel but has the softness of a dinner roll and a phenomenal taste that can’t be compared. The Avo Mash was nicely seasoned with a hint of lemon and topped with an amazing House Cilantro Sauce. Finished with a sprinkling of Pumpkin Seeds that added a nice crunch, Chili Flakes to spice things up, and Dairy-Free Cheesy Kale Crumbles, this Avocado Toast was up there with some of the best I’ve ever had.
The Vibe
Located in a former historic mill turned merchant hall called Tannery Marketplace, the modern new space is loaded with charm. Bar and table seating are provided in the common area.
The Takeaway
Revitalive Cafe & Juice Bar is the best Juice Bar in town. They serve scratch-made goodness that is vegan and free of so many less than desirable known inflammatories, yet still potent with flavor and nutrition. Clean in every way, give them a shout when in Newburyport or Andover, their other location. BTW, I’m still dreaming about the Avo Toast on that drool-worthy organic & GF Sweet Potato Biscuit!
