At Campo Enoteca, the fish is wild-caught, most of the beef is 100% grass-fed, and the pork is pasture-raised and supplemented with non-GMO grains. Most of the produce is local and either certified organic or organically grown. Just about everything is scratch-made including the pasta, bread, sauces, dressings, and desserts. Local sourcing dominates with the goal being to source within a 150-mile radius of its restaurant.
For starters, the menu offers small bites, antipasti, charcuterie boards, and specialty cheeses. Entrees include traditional Italian fare, Salads, Paninis, Pizzas, a Steak option, a Vegan dish, a few Chicken plates, and a Seafood entree.
What I Ordered
I ordered the Polpetti from the antipasti menu and a mixed greens salad. House-made bread was brought to the table with an amazing three-cheese and olive oil dipping sauce. Local fresh greens, crunchy cuke slices, diced tomatoes, and thinly sliced red onions proved to be the perfect canvas for their amazing scratch-made Prosecco dressing. Made with 100% grass-fed beef, pastured non-GMO pork, and a house cream sauce infused with wild mushrooms, the Polpetti was to die for. The meatballs were moist and perfectly spiced while the rich mushroom cream sauce was drool-worthy and irresistible, simply outstanding in every way.
Campo Enoteca is dimly lit with high tops and traditional table seating. The marble-topped bar takes center stage in this casual space. Outdoor seating is also provided along the front sidewalk in a sectioned area.
