What’s Clean
The majority of ingredients are organic and just about everything is scratch-made at Green Lane Naturals. However, the bread choices are not made in house and most are not organic. The bananas are typically not organic and the nut milks are from cartons. This is a vegan/plant-based restaurant with many raw and gluten-free options.
What’s Served
Green Lane Naturals serves organic juices made to order as well as smoothies, fruit bowls, banana whips, and small bites. A sampling of small plates offered includes mushroom tacos, BLT sandwich made with coconut bacon, soup of the day, and a veggie wrap. Scratch-made desserts are rotated throughout the week. You’ll also find coffee, lattes, and espressos on the menu.
What I Ordered
I ordered Avocado Toast on a GF coconut wrap. Although the thin wrap I chose as the base made for a toast-less avo toast, taste was not compromised. Fresh cubed tomatoes, radishes, and cucumbers drenched in a house-made cashew creme sauce crowned a layer of creamy mashed avocado. Sesame seeds provided a subtle crunch to the avo mash that was topped with fresh sprouts. All in all, a scrumptious avo toast, despite my choice of a coconut wrap. Unfortunately, the desserts were already sold out when I arrived. After perusing the delectable dessert photos on Instagram, you might want to grab a treat if they are available.
The Vibe
Green Lane Naturals occupies an older wooden home with 4 adjoining rooms providing a different dining experience in each. You’ll find chic furnishings, desks for laptops, family-style tables, and intimate smaller tables. A small bar and outdoor seating is available as well.
The Takeaway
You’ll find the cleanest and purest food in town at Green Lane Naturals. Eco-friendly and environmentally conscious as well, you can’t go wrong here where vegan and raw are taken to the next level.
