What’s Clean
At Juice Society, the juices are cold pressed, organic and raw. The coffee and superfoods are organic as well. The bread is not organic as well as some of the fruit in the smoothies and bowls; ask for more specifics. Although organic labels are not found on the juices and menus, I was told on 2 different visits that they are organic and are working towards the labeling change.
What’s Served
Juice Society serves cold pressed organic juices, nut mylks, superfood smoothies and bowls, organic coffee, adaptogenic lattes, and toasts. Several clean food treats are available in the grab & go frig such as Kombucha, chia pudding, parfaits, and snacks. They also have several gluten free options.
What I Ordered
I ordered an Activated Charcoal Lemonade and yes, it was for sure, one of the best I’ve ever tasted.
The Vibe
The feel is upscale chic; concrete floors and cushioned bench seating with small fixed tables adorn an entire wall. Live plants are plentiful and there’s a small bar with stools that faces outdoors.
The Takeaway
The juice and food are mostly clean and yummy, and the atmosphere is lovely. If you happen to be in Houston, Juice Society has another location in Houston’s Whole Foods Market 365.
