What’s Clean
All ingredients in the cold pressed juices, nut mylks, tortillas and coffee are organic. Other than the that, organic ingredients are scattered throughout the menu and nothing else is 100% organic. Many ingredients are local and are organically grown, but not certified. The organic ingredients are labeled in all menu items on the menu.
What’s Served
Their menu is extensive and includes soups, breakfast tacos, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, cold pressed juice, nut mylk, bone broth, and coffee. There is also a large selection of grab & go small plates and meals. In addition to the identification of organic ingredients on the menu, it also identifies gluten free, dairy free, paleo, and vegan options.
What I Ordered
I ordered the Reveler Breakfast Taco in a bowl which consisted of Potato, Egg, Cheese, and I opted for Bacon as an add-on. The photo does not do the Breakfast Taco justice, it definitely tasted better than it looks. Warm with the perfect amount of dense bacon bits, moist cubes of potato, scrambled eggs, gooey melted cheese, and spices. I should have ordered the large, because this little piggy wanted more.
The Vibe
People’s Rx Deli is located inside the People’s Rx health store. They offer counter service and a grab & go section only. Tables and seating are not provided, therefore be prepared to take everything to go.
The Takeaway
The health food part of the store is amazing, not huge but the selection is top notch. Products in their store are unique and not typically found in other retail stores. Although the menu is not totally clean, at least People’s Rx Deli is transparent about their ingredients, bringing greater awareness to what we are ordering and eating. Thank you People’s Rx!
