Most of the produce is local and organic. The chicken is organic and the shrimp are wild-caught but frozen. The beef, however, is not 100% grass-fed nor organic, it is grain-finished. The salmon is farmed.
Sala & Betty serves Classic American fare such as burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, starters, kids meals, beer, and wine. Entrees offered include chicken, beef, pork, and salmon dishes.
What I Ordered
We split a Shrimp Po’Boy on a Cauliflower Tortilla. The shrimp arrived atop a bed of vinaigrette cabbage slaw and tomato aioli. The shrimp was on the larger side and quite good, and loved the flavors of the cabbage slaw and aioli. It should be noted that the photo of the plated food is only a half order, 6 shrimp come with the Po’Boy.
Sala & Betty’s occupies a nice open space with an industrial rustic chic feel. They have a bar, a large outdoor seating area and a drive-thru as well.
Sala & Betty’s is a nice spot and the food is decent, but not as clean as I was hoping after reading online descriptions.
